Responsibilities:
• Provide legal advice and guidance on various legal issues (e.g. contracts, litigation, corporate governance etc.)
• Draft and review legal documents such as contracts, agreements, policies, and regulations.
• Conduct research and analysis of legal problems.
• Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
• Represent the organization in legal proceedings (administrative boards, court trials etc.)
• Negotiate deals and attend company meetings.
• Ensure the legality of the company's business practices and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a legal counsel in a business environment.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and a license to practice law.
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of corporate law and procedures.
• Full comprehension of the influences of the external environment of a corporation.
• Demonstrated ability to create legal defensive or proactive strategies.
• High degree of professional ethics, integrity and gravitas.
• Excellent communication skills.
